How do I get my new puppy?
There are 3 ways to get a new puppy from Lost Creek. Please feel free to text or email with questions about the process, or click on “Puppy Application” above when you’re ready to begin the journey!
Option 1 - Join a Waiting List to save your spot to select from an upcoming litter.
The best way to begin the process with us is as follows:
- Complete our online puppy application. This will help us learn a little about you and help make the connection between you and the very best puppy. It goes far beyond size, color or even breed! Temperament and personality are most important and there can be significant differences from one puppy to the next!
- Place your deposit. This will reserve your spot to select your puppy. The deposit is $200 and we will accept Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay or PayPal (you don’t need a PayPal account to place the deposit.) The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. Click here to read why the deposit is non-refundable. If you’d like to place your deposit now, you can send the deposit to lostcreekdoodles@gmail.com on PayPal.
- We’ll send you a digital health contract by email which you can sign on a computer or on your phone. We’ll include a number of links that will help you plan for your new family member, including general tips and pointers, a recommended supply list and more.
- When a litter is born, you’ll have the option to take a puppy from that litter, based on your position on the waiting list, or pass for the next litter.
- If you choose to wait for the next litter, you won’t lose your place in line. In fact, you’ll probably have an earlier pick the next time around.
- If you choose to take a puppy, we’ll guide you through the selection process and help you get the perfect match for your new family member!
- Puppy balance will be due at time of pickup!
Option 2 - If you'd like the 1st pick of the litter...
If you’d like to be the first pick of any upcoming litter, we’ll charge a $1,000 premium for that pick. The deposit will be $1,000 and the remaining balance will be due at puppy pick-up. You’ll be moved to the top of the next litter, skipping any waiting list. (This will not apply to litters already born.)

Option 3 - Join the overflow list.
This is the no pressure, no deposit approach. If you’re on this list and there’s a puppy available, we’ll email you with a picture and some information about the puppy. It will be first come, first served! This is a great way to be notified if you’re not 100% certain you want a puppy at this time.
This option does not guarantee a selection. You’ll be notified ONLY when we have an available puppy.

Methods of accepted payment are as follows (at puppy pick-up):
- Cash, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay
- Need to make payments? We understand, so we now offer two payment plan methods through PayPal. You can now choose to pay for your puppy in 4 installments, or on a monthly payment plan. You’ll see these options on your invoice for both the deposit to hold your puppy, and balance due at puppy pick-up. In either scenario, you take your puppy home on pick-up day!
